1. Purpose
These Terms and Conditions of Sale ("Terms") govern the use of the locski.com platform (the "Platform"), a marketplace connecting customers who wish to rent ski equipment with partner rental shops (the "Rental Shops").
2. Role of LocSki
LocSki acts as a technical intermediary. The rental contract is concluded directly between the customer and the partner rental shop. LocSki facilitates the connection, equipment matching and secure payment via Stripe Connect.
3. Booking process
- Creating a group and setting up member profiles
- Choosing a resort and a partner rental shop
- Automatic matching of suitable equipment for each member
- Confirming the summary and the rental shop's terms
- Paying the deposit online via Stripe
- Receiving the confirmation and the Travel Card
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euros, including VAT. The deposit amount is set by each rental shop (a percentage of the total). Payment is secured by Stripe (PCI DSS certified). LocSki never stores any card details.
LocSki charges a commission on each transaction in accordance with the terms agreed with the partner rental shops.
5. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services that must be provided on a specific date. As ski equipment rental bookings are tied to fixed dates, they are excluded from the right of withdrawal.
6. Cancellation
Cancellation terms are specific to each partner rental shop and are displayed before the booking is confirmed. Any cancellation request must be made from your customer account or by email to contact@locski.com.
7. Liability
LocSki cannot be held liable for the quality of the equipment provided by the rental shop, nor for incidents occurring during sporting activities. The rental shop remains solely responsible for the equipment it provides and its maintenance.
8. Rental shop's terms
Each partner rental shop has its own Terms and Conditions of Sale and cancellation policy, which are shown on its shop page and presented before the booking is confirmed. Acceptance of the rental shop's terms is required before any payment.
9. Personal data
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy policy.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action. The competent court is that of LocSki's registered office.
